| 27 January 2012 The 8th plenary session of the talks over the Armenia-European Union Association Agreement was held January 25-26 in Brussels, press service of the Armenian Foreign Affairs Ministry told Armenpress. The Armenian delegation was headed by Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister, chief negotiator of Armenia on Armenia-EU Association Agreement Zohrab Mnatsakanyan. The negotiations from the European party were conducted by chief of Eurocommission's Department on Eastern Europe Gunnar Vigand. Both parties expressed gratification that 22 chapters concerning the economic, financial and field cooperation of the future agreement have been negotiated and temporarily closed up to now. The parties expressed confidence that within the framework of the next plenary meeting it will be possible to start the talks over relevant chapters of the Association Agreement. During the meeting an agreement was reached on starting the talks over visa facilitation of Armenian citizens to EU countries at the end of February. The next plenary session of the talks over the Association Agreement is intended to hold at the end of March in Yerevan. http://bsanna-news.ukrinform.ua/
