| 25 January 2012 Four additional checkpoints will be provided on the Ukrainian-Polish border by the start of UEFA EURO 2012, UKRINFORM learned Kostiantyn Lohvynov, Deputy Head of Border Control and Registration at the State Border Guard Service (SBGS). "At the time of the EURO Poles are inviting us. By the start of the championship four automobile checkpoints will open in Poland on a temporary basis. All this is done in order to expedite the processing of people, so that fans do not stand on the border," Lohvynov emphasized. According to the SBGS official, three checkpoints are currently operating on the border with Poland on a permanent basis with joint control, two -automobile checkpoints and a railway checkpoint. At the time of UEFA EURO 2012 joint control will be conducted at the checkpoints Krakovets-Korchova, Yahodyn-Dorohusk, Rava-Ruska - Hrebenne and Shegini-Medica, Lohvinov said. http://www.ukrinform.ua/
