17 January 2012 Migration is a normal phenomenon aimed at development of a country. Demographer Ruben Yeganyan noted huge mass of population works money abroad. "People of working age leave the borders of the Republic of Armenia. That is, Armenia is characterized by labor migration," Mr. Yeganyan said. He noted that the migration, nevertheless, does not have a growing nature. Ethnographer Aghasi Tadevosyan added that migration does not have a negative coloring in contrast to emigration. "We must not make mourning out of emigration. Sure, there are issues, which are connected with country's development, as people with different capabilities leave Armenia," Mr. Tadevosyan said. He noted that migration is an issue, which has not only a demographic, but also legal, economic and cultural aspects. http://armenpress.am/
