On 12 May 2004, the President signed a Law on Ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and Romania on Ukrainian-Romanian State Border Regime, and Co-operation and Mutual Assistance in Border Issues after its ratification by the Ukrainian Parliament. The agreement, signed on 17 June 2003, will enter into force after the exchange of ratification instruments in Bucharest.
