| In addition to a Reception Centre for Asylum Seekers opened in Timisoara in February 2004, a Reception Centre for Asylum Seekers with the funding of EURO 750,000 from PHARE program and EURO 300,000 from the Romanian Government, was opened in Galati (South-Eastern border) in May 2004. The Centre has accommodation capacity of 250 persons. Both centres are managed by the National Refugee Office of the Ministry of Administration and Interior. |
