| 20 October 2009 9 October in Hague the Head of Mission Mr Ferenc Banfi met with the Director of Europol Mr Rob Wainwright to discuss cooperation between the two organisations in the area of combating organised crime, drugs trafficking, trafficking in human beings and cigarette smuggling. Heads of the two organisations acknowledged good cooperation in conducting seminars on organised crime to Moldovan and Ukrainian border services and law enforcement agencies. It was agreed that the cooperation should continue in the same way. The Head of Mission had another meeting with heads of units of the Serious Crime Department to discuss cooperation between the Mission and Europol on particular cases.
