| 17 June 2009 Representatives of the national mass media of the Republic of Moldova paid a visit to Tudora international border checkpoint, organized jointly by the Border Guard Service, the EU Mission (EUBAM), and the Customs Service. During the visit, the journalists familiarized themselves with operation of the checkpoint and cooperation between partner services on the border as well as took part in joint patrolling in the Moldovan-Ukrainian border segment. A special briefing was provided to mass media representatives where they received answers to their questions related to a mechanism of interaction between the Border Guard Service, the EU Mission, and the Customs Service for securing law and order on the border and implementation of European standards into the control and supervision process on the state border.
