| On the 8 of December 2008, Mr. Valeriu Ostalep, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, is participating at the Conference “Deepening the partnership between the Republic of Moldova and European Union”. The event is organized in Brussels by the European Office of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and gathers representatives of the European Commission, European Parliament, General Secretariat of the EU, EU Special Representative to Moldova, EU member states officials and diplomats, as well European academic representatives. The Conference will discuss important aspects related to the principles and objectives of the new RM—EU Agreement, the implementation of the Moldovan strategic objective of gradual European integration with the European Union, as well the existent opportunities for revising the visa policy of the EU for Moldovan citizens. The discussions will also address the results and priorities of the Regional Presidencies of the Republic of Moldova within the processes and initiatives of the South-Eastern and Central Europe.
