| 28 November 2008 On 28 November Mr. Valeriu Ostalep, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, had a meeting with Johannes Kyrle, General Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Austria. During the discussion the parties referred to the excellent progress of bilateral Moldovan-Austrian relations. Realization of joint projects, with the Austrian contribution of participation, including setting up and launching Common Visa Center, is an example of fruitful cooperation both bilaterally and European. In this context, parties have made an exchange of views and visions regarding the process of European integration of the Republic of Moldova, particular references being assigned for the field related to the mechanism of issuing visas. Were also mentioned deepen commercial-economic exchanges and perspectives for developing them in the future. Austrian General Secretary for Foreign Affairs welcomed the reforms going in our country, and reiterated the total availability of his country for the assistance and proper expertise, stating that Austria is a firm supporter of the Republic of Moldova towards European way and informed about the delegated representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Austria for more relevant cooperation with Moldovan authorities.
