| 27 November 2008 On the 27th of November Mr Valeriu Ostalep, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, had a meeting with a delegation of the MFA of the Czech Republic, headed by Ms Helena Bambasova, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. The Czech delegation participates in Chisinau at the Central European Initiative Summit. The Deputy Minister Bambasova made a summary of the planned activities for the first half of the year 2009, when the Czech Republic will hold the Presidency of the European Union, mentioning that the development of relations with the Republic of Moldova represents not only a priority of the Czech foreign policy, but one of the priorities of the Czech Presidency of the EU, as part of the regional policy. The sides exchanged opinions about the current subjects of the political dialogue between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union, more precisely, about the preparations for the negotiation of the new Agreement and advancing in the dialogue about the visa regime in order to considerably simplify the circulation of the Moldovan citizens in the EU. |
