| On the 27th of November Mr Valeriu Ostalep, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, had a meeting with a delegation of the MFA of Poland, headed by Ms Grazyna Maria Bernatowicz, Under Secretary of State of the MFA of the Polish Republic. The Polish delegation participates in Chisinau at the Central European Initiative Summit. The sides made an exchange of information about the advancing of the Republic of Moldova on the way to the European Union, here being mentioned the first hand priorities of our state and the fields of special interest where a more profound cooperation is expected. The central subject of the discussion was the Polish-Swedish initiative in the framework of the EU. The Moldovan side showed interest in the Polish vision on the perspectives of this project. The Polish official offered details about this initiative and stressed the role of the Moldovan-Polish political consultations, which are going to take place on December 9, in Warsaw. The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs appreciated the constant role of Poland in supporting the efforts of the Republic of Moldova to conform to European standards. |
