| 14 November 2008 Belarus and Lithuania will soon sign an intergovernmental agreement on border cooperation. According to the agreement, the citizens of the two countries, who live in the areas not more than 50 kilometres away from the Belarusian-Lithuanian border, will travel visa free. The document is expected to be signed within the next few weeks
