| 14 October 2008 A joint study visit of representatives of the Belarusian and Ukrainian border agencies to the international airport of Frankfurt, held within the framework of developing cooperation on border matters, finished on 10 October. In the course of the visit, the Belarusian and Ukrainian border guards were familiarized with functions of the German Federal Police, a system of organization of border and biometric control in the European Union, and aviation security in the airport. Besides, the participants of the visit exchanged experience in detection of forged documents on the border as well as agreed upon matters of mutual deportation and reception of illegal migrants.
