The general course – European integration within the border field At Chisinau takes place a working meeting of the delegation of the State Border Guard of the Republic of Latvia, which is dedicated to the problems that deal with the cooperation that has an interinstitutional character within the framework of the Project on rendering the assistance to the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Moldova. The Border Guard Service of the Republic of Moldova makes considerable efforts in order to enhance the international relations in the field of border security, experience exchange referred to control organization and state border surveillance. In this context, at Chisinau is going to take place during two days the working meeting between the representatives of the Border Guard Service and their Latvian colleagues. During the meeting days the Latvian guests plan to have meeting with the leadership of the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Moldova, where will be discussed the up-to-date methods of organization of the state border surveillance and control. At the same time the delegation will get acquainted with the activity of the Dog handling Service, Personnel training Division, as well as will visit the Border Guard Service museum. Also, the Parties have the intention to examine the perspectives of the cooperation development between the respective border institutions for 2009.
