| 14 November 2007 On 13 November, the European Parliament voted in favour of visa facilitation and readmission agreement with Ukraine and Moldova.
Proposal for a Council decision on the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Community and Ukraine on the facilitation of issuance of short-stay visas (A6-0363/2007) was presented by rapporteur Barbara Kudrycka (Peoples Party, Poland). The proposal was adopted by 539 votes in favour to 36 against with 12 abstentions. Proposal for a Council decision concerning the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Community and Ukraine on readmission was adopted by a show of hands.
Proposals for a Council decision on the conclusion of the Agreement between the European Community and the Republic of Moldova on the facilitation of issuance of short-stay visas and on the readmission of persons residing without authorisation was presented by rapporteur Marian-Jean Marinescu (Peoples Party, Romania). Two proposals were adopted by a show of hands.
