| 18 September 2007 On 17 September, the delegation of Border Guards from Belarus visited their counterparts in France. Introduction of biometric data in Belarusian passports was a central issue during the visit. The Belarusian border guards familiarized themselves with the structure of the French Border Police, Customs and Border Cooperation Center, and biometric control facilities at the international airport at the external border of the Schengen zone.
