| 17 September 2007 Within the framework of EU/UNDP Programme “Enhancing the System of Immigration Control at the State Border of the Republic of Belarus” (BOMBEL-2) a seminar aiming at organization and implementation of the “green” border protection with use of mobile units and database-aided systems started its work in Smorgon, Belarus on 17 September. The representatives of the Project BOMBEL-2, Border Troops of the Republic of Belarus and experts of the Border Guard of Finland participated in the seminar. Within five days the parties exchanged experience in organization and implementation of the “green” border protection using, mobile units, database systems and service dogs.
