| 20 July 2007 The official opening of the International Training Center on Migration and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings took place at the Academy of the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Belarus on 19 July 2007. The creation of the Center is the result of joint efforts of the International Organization for Migration and the Republic of Belarus. The ceremony was attended by Alexander Lukashenko, President of the Republic of Belarus, and Brunson McKinley, IOM Director General.
