| 13 June 2007 On 12-14 June 2007 in Warsaw, Poland, the Border Guards Service of Ukraine, Poland, Hungary and Slovakia discussed a joint FRONTEX project on "Five Borders". This initiative is among other 11 joint operations, four study projects and five other projects focusing on land borders together with six joint operations and four study projects at sea borders including the establishment of a permanent European Patrols Network for 2007. This work is parallel with cooperation between Frontex and the relevant third countries in particular Ukraine, Russia and the Western Balkan countries.
