INTERPOL trains Latvian Border guards

On 10-11 May Interpol trained about 70 Latvian border guards on the Global Police Communication System I-24/7
Data Base. Participants were familiarized with INTERPOL activities, statistical data, and trained in practical
application of the Automated Search Facility. During the next 18 months up to 600 users of that system will be
included - mostly from border guards and the National Police. It is expected that 60 officials will train
their respective colleagues.
