| 15 May 2007 On 16 May 2007, Belarusian Delegation arrived to Slovakia on a familiarizing visit. The representatives of the State Border Guard Committee, Immigration Department of the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Belarus, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Belarusian Red Cross and Belarusian medical workers movement have familiarized themselves with methods of the Slovak border monitoring, as well as legal base regulating sanctions issues, including the mechanism of mixed migration flows’ division into illegal migrants, persons seeking asylum and human traffickers’ victims. During the visit, the Belarusian delegation visited the Ubla border point and refugee accommodation centers in Secovce and Humenne. They have also met with the officials of the migration service of Zakarpatye within Mukachevo and Chop border detachments. Belarusian and Ukrainian counterparts exchanged experience and ways of cooperation in the sphere of border monitoring.
