| 3 April 2007 On 3-4 April 2007, Lieut. Gen. Aleksandr Pavlovskiy, Head of the State Border Troops Committee of Belarus, and Col. Gen. Mykola Lytvyn, Head of the State Border Service of Ukraine, are discussing the current situation on the Belarusian-Ukrainian state border, operation at border checkpoints, issues of border representative activities, and compliance with previously reached agreements between the two countries’ border agencies. The agenda of the meeting includes discussion of bilateral cooperation development prospects. It is expected that the Heads of border agencies will also address provision of control over the simplified procedure of transit on Slavutych-Chornobyl highway.
