| 28 March 2007 On March 27 during hisvisit to Moldova, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Urmas Paet, met Prime Minister of Moldova Vasile Tarlev and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration of Moldova Andrei Stratan. At the meeting Mr Paet affirmed Estonia`s support to Moldova for its closer integration into the European Union. One demonstration of that is visa facilitation agreement that is currently under preparation. Estonia has decided to take part in the work of Common Visa Facilitation Center that will be opened in April, to facilitate visas issued to Moldovan citizens. Speaking of Transnistria, Mr Paet emphasized that there is no doubt that EU Border Assistance Mission has proved its necessity. Estonia supports prolonging the Mission for two more years and is willing to continue its participation.
