| 17 February 2007 At the meeting of the Justice and Home Affairs Council of the European Union held in Brussels on 15 February it was decided that the EU’s new member states, including Estonia, should begin the installation in their computer networks of the Schengen Information System (SIS) software this April. Implementation of the system must be ready for assessment by the end of August. |
