Ukraine and Hungary agreed to start experiment patrolling on Tysa

During the visit of the Delegation of Ukrainian Government to Hungary on 6 March, Mykola Lytvyn, Head of State Border Guards of Ukraine, took part in the 9th meeting of the Heads of Border Guard Agencies of Ukraine and Hungary. The Heads of the two Border Guard Services discussed the situation at the common border and analyzed the state of current cooperation, which, as highlighted, remains at the high level and is characterized by the spirit of mutual understanding and trust. As a result of the meeting the Action Plan of cooperation for 2007 has been signed, envisaging common border controls, creation of common contact check point on border, looking into the issues of conducting an experiment at patrolling on Tysa river, and reinforcing operational cooperation among the two agencies.
