| LETA, 11 February 2007 Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs plans to open its embassy in Moldova in the years coming. Currently in Moldova, a center of visa document submission is being prepared for opening, which will be hosted by the Hungarian embassy’s premises in Chisinau. In the same place, a consular service officer, who is now in the Latvian embassy in Kyiv, will be working. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Moldova said earlier that getting Latvian visas was difficult for citizens of his country, since they need to go to Kyiv and stay there for five days for that purpose. |
