| 06.02.2007 During his visit to Moldova on 6 February 2007, the Minister of Interior of Ukraine, Mr. Oleksander Tsushko, met with the Administration of the Law-Enforcement Authorities of Moldova. The one-day visit aimed at sharing experience of the neighbouring country to work in the police and law-enforcement fields. Mr. Tsushko has highlighted that Moldova keeps up a high pace in the development of its information technologies to fight against organised crime, securing civil order and approaches the internationally recognised police standards even much quicker that Ukraine. While having negotiations with Mr. Papuc, the Minister of Interior of Moldova, the two have agreed that there is no doubt in deepening of bilateral cooperation especially in the view of reforming of law-enforcement systems in the two countries. “We are always glad to share our best experiences with our neighbours and learn the latest achievements from them” – said Tsushko. The Ukrainian delegation visited the Ministry of Information Development where they learned latest Moldovans methods of work to combat illegal flow of goods, fight against illegal migration.
