| In 2007 Romania introduces free of charge visas to Ukrainian citizens traveling to Romania. Ukraine in turn abolishes visas for the Romanian citizen. This has been announced at the joined press-conference of the Romanian and Ukrainian Presidents on 16 January 2007. During one month all necessary documents will be prepared by the respective authorities.
